QA ENGINEER

FULL-TIME  |  SEATTLE, WA

STRIVE is looking for a QA Engineer to further develop our wearable products. You will join a team dedicated to making high performance wearables for athletes everywhere.  We’re looking for someone who gets excited by test plans, thrives working with small teams where your voice is heard and makes a difference.  We need someone who enjoys working collaboratively with customer support managers, developers and product managers.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Create tests & test plans to identify and reproduce software problems
  • Be on the technical front line working with customer support to identify root causes of issues
  • Analyze bugs and errors found from tests and in the field
  • Document results of tests for development teams
  • Work with firmware and software engineers to establish developer and QA testing expectations
  • Break our hardware to software systems and provide detailed bug reports
  • Perform smoke and regression testing prior to releasing features


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of writing automated tests for software applications and native tests
  • Experience with mobile technologies like Bluetooth Low energy and IOS and Google Play Apps
  • Experience with technologies like Typescript, AWS, Grafana, Detox, and Cypress
  • Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to dive deep and discover true requirements, underlying feature requirements
  • High degree of comfort operating in a sometimes ambiguous, fast-changing environment with rapid iteration cycles
  • Experience with the Scrum and Agile methodology and experience working within and leading Agile teams
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
