SCIENCE

STRIVE provides the most complete, accurate and actionable muscle data in human performance inside a platform that provides powerful insights to elite athletes and coaches, soldiers, industrial workers, and patients.

The Strive Platform has been validated to the highest medical grade standards by university-backed, peer-reviewed research.

STRIVE uses Surface Electromyography and a Tri-Axial Accelerometer to collect performance data. These components of STRIVE gather muscle activation and accelerometer data to compare internal load with external load data. To put it simply, STRIVE measures what someone’s muscles are doing internally in order to accomplish a specific movement or action.

sEMG (signal) is a noninvasive method that detects the electrical activity of the muscle. More specifically, it determines the degree of activation of skeletal muscles. Through the use of sensors lined on the inside of compression shorts – STRIVE captures both the muscle amplitude and frequency of the glutes, quadriceps, and the hamstrings.
