STRIVE has created the only product that has allowed you to take full control of your neuromuscular health. Until recently, these insights were only available to professional athletes but we’re opening up to a broader audience. We are the team that will help you train smarter and win more.

GETTING STARTED

Read the step-by-step tutorial below and learn everything you’ll need to know about using the STRIVE Performance System.

STEP 1

CHARGE THE POD

Connect the Charger Base to an electrical outlet via the power cord and dock the Pod to begin charging.

The LED indicator light on the base of the charger will flash green to indicate the STRIVE Pod is connected and charging.

When the LED on the base stops flashing and is solid green, the Pod is fully charged and ready to collect data.

STEP 2

DOWNLOAD THE APP

Go to the App Store and search STRIVE Elite or click the button below if this is the device you’d like to use.  

Once you’ve installed the App, follow the prompts to Create an Account and sign in. 

STEP 3

PAIR THE POD

The STRIVE Pod connects to your iOS device using Bluetooth LE, so be sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. 

  1. Open the STRIVE Elite App and tap on the setting icon in the right hand corner of the app.

  2. Scroll up to “Pod”.

  3. Click on “Change Pod Assignment”

  4. Ensure that if the pod was attached to a separate account prior, be sure to remove that pod from the old account before trying to assign it to a new account.

During the initial set up, the Pod’s firmware will automatically update. Tap “Update Pod Firmware” when prompted and keep the App open until the firmware update is complete.

STEP 4

CONNECT TO SHORTS

STRIVE Shorts are worn as the base layer with the Sensors on the inside and the Pod base is facing front, like a belt buckle. 

Attach the Pod to the shorts by aligning the ridges on the base, then slide the Pod to your left until it clicks into place.

The STRIVE Sensors need to be in good contact with the skin (no underwear or creams) and will work more accurately when you begin to perspire.

STEP 5

CREATE USER PROFILE

  1. Tap on the Profile button in the top left hand corner
  2. Scroll down to fill out your details (first and last name, Date of Birth, weight)
Note: In the Elite App there are not athlete profiles (that is only in Pro). Only one pod and one athlete per Elite App.

LET'S GO!

YOU'RE READY TO LOG YOUR FIRST SESSION

From any page in the App, tap the blue “+” button in the bottom center of the screen. Select from two options: Activity or Movement Eval.

TO LOG A SESSION

  1. Activity
    1. Select activity type (Cardio, Lifting, etc.)
    2. If it is a Live Activity – click “Confirm”
      1. Your session will begin and you will start to see the data populate live
      2. When completed with the activity – click the Stop Button (red square) in the bottom left hand corner
      3. Click ‘Confirm’
    3. If it is a Previous Activity – click ‘Log a Previous Activity’
      1. Select activity type
      2. Adjust the Date as needed
      3. Adjust the Start and End Time as needed
      4. Click ‘Confirm’
  2. Movement Eval
    1. Delete ‘Movement Eval’ and type in the name of your Movement or Activity
    2. Tap ‘Confirm’ to start
    3. Complete your movement or activity 
    4. When completed with your activity – click on the Stop Button (red square) in the bottom left hand corner
    5. Click ‘Confirm’

MAKING SENSE OF YOUR DATA

SESSION OVERVIEW

Each Session or Movement Evaluation will create a new Session Card with both a detailed breakdown and summary. 

You will find a insights into your:

  • Effort (the amount of work your muscles are doing)
  • Action (accelerations and deaccelerations, when you change speed in any direction)
  • Distribution (how your muscle groups are working together)
  • Asymmetry (how much each muscle group is activating between your right and left leg)

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To clean the shorts, first remember to remove the Pod from the shorts and return to the charger.

Hand wash the shorts with a gentle detergent (e.g. Woolite) or machine wash on Cold.

Hang the shorts to dry. Do not tumble dry!
High heat will damage the sensors.
