Our shorts do run small, so we advise to size up.
Wear as a base layer with the EMG sensors on the inside and the Pod base is facing front, like a belt buckle.
Garment should be tight to the skin, like other compression gear.
Avoid any lotions, oils, or hot/cold creams under the garment.
Avoid athletic tapes under the garment where the sensors are touching the skin.
Remove Pod.
Hand wash with a gentle cleaner (e.g. Woolite) or washing machine on cold.
Hang to dry.
Avoid industrial washer/dryers. Air drying is highly recommended, but shorts are machine washable on a low heat setting for 30 minutes. Please be advised that we do not recommend high heat as it may damage the sensors and the inlay.
Attach the Pod to the shorts by aligning the ridges on the base, then slide the Pod to your left until it clicks into place.
The STRIVE Sensors need to be in good contact with the skin (no underwear or creams) and will work more accurately when you begin to perspire.
We use sticker-like material for the EMG sensors that are embedded into the shorts. They might feel a little tight in the beginning, but once you get warmed up and start sweating – you won’t even notice the sensors.
The LED indicator light on the base of the charger will flash green to indicate the STRIVE Pod is connected and charging.
When the LED on the base stops flashing and is solid green, the Pod is fully charged and ready to collect data.
*In the STRIVE Pro app you will also be able to see the status of the battery on the pods page as well.
